Who We Are
Wing Snob was founded in 2014 in Schaumburg, Illinois by Marcus Reid — a self-taught pitmaster who believed wings deserved far more respect than they were getting. Tired of lukewarm sauces and bland batters, Marcus spent three years developing his signature dry-rub technique and house-made sauce lineup before opening our doors.
What started as a tiny 12-seat spot on Schaumburg Road quickly became the neighborhood's most talked-about dining secret. Word spread fast. The wings were different — bold, precise, unapologetically good. Within two years, we expanded to our current full-service location and catering operation.
Today, Wing Snob serves thousands of guests each month, ships our signature sauces nationally, and remains fiercely committed to the craft that started it all: making wings worth being snobby about.

Founder Marcus Reid begins three years of intensive research and recipe development in his home kitchen, convinced that wings are a seriously underappreciated canvas for bold flavor.
The original 12-seat location opens at 2319 W Schaumburg Rd. Lines form on day one. Within weeks, local food bloggers declare it "the wing destination Schaumburg didn't know it needed."
Driven by overwhelming demand, Wing Snob expands to a full-service dining room seating 60+ guests, adds a dedicated catering kitchen, and launches our signature sauce retail line.
Wing Snob's house-made sauce collection goes national via our online store, shipping to all 50 states. Our "Smoky Gold" and "Devil's Kiss" flavors sell out within the first 48 hours.
Illinois Food & Travel Magazine names Wing Snob the #1 Wing Destination in Illinois — an honor we earn again in 2023, cementing our reputation as the gold standard for wing excellence.
Celebrating 10 years of fearless flavor, Wing Snob launches its franchise program and catering expansion, inviting passionate food lovers to bring the Wing Snob experience to new cities.
